Class to be administered by four NFCG instructors in order to ensure maximum attention and detailed instruction for each student. In-depth attention will be devoted to all painting processes, and will include the addition of numerous techniques for adding special detail, beyond the normal painting procedures and will also include hand painting the fish eye. Use of Shiva Paint sticks, cream paints, iridescent powders and other tricks will be fully explained and demonstrated in depth. Castings, beautiful laser engraved wood box and all paint and materials are included in cost.

HANDS-ON FISH PAINTING CLASS / $ 150.00

8 Hour Class / Seminar
WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY!...an all day, instructional session with three World Champions! A session with one of them is a memorable experience.... a session with all three of them at the same time is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Bob, Clark and Josh will team up to provide you an opportunity to learn the nuances of painting a fish carving from the best! Bob will lead the class and demonstrate his unique methods of painting fish (trout) with artists brushes and acrylic paint. Even airbrush-users will benefit from this fun seminar. Students will receive a 12-inch trout blank to paint. Brushes and paints will be supplied, but you may also bring your own. You will paint as instructors guide your every stroke. Each student may choose a rainbow, cutthroat, or a golden trout to paint. PLEASE BRING REFERENCE to assist you in painting the best fish in the class. Also, bring pencils, paper, and your camera.
This is a special early seminar which has been approved by the WFCC and is held in conjuction with the Breakthrough Magazine World Fish Carving Championships in St.Charles, MO / May 3 -7, 2011 at the St.Charles Convention Center
You must be registered by April 30th. A $50.00 deposit is required when registering.

CARVING & PAINTING A TROPICAL REEF FISH & HABITAT
with Word Champion Bob Berry
The fish will be carved prior to attending the Class and the project will be finished under the guidance of Bob Berry. You will learn all aspects of disgining your own habitat and how to display your tropical reef fish. A pattern for the reeffish will be provided upon registration for the class. This will be an exciting week!!....Don't miss it!
